Özen Park Preschool – Personal Data Protection Notice

At Özen Park Preschool, we are fully aware of the importance of protecting personal data. With this awareness, we pay great attention to processing and safeguarding the personal information of all individuals associated with our institution, including those who benefit from our services, in full compliance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data (Law No. 6698, “KVKK”).

As the "Data Controller" defined under KVKK, we process your personal data within the limits set by law, as outlined below:

1) Data Controller and Representative
In accordance with KVKK, your personal data may be processed by our institution as the data controller, within the scope explained below.

2) Collection, Processing, and Purpose of Personal Data
Your personal data may be processed in accordance with applicable legislation and our internal procedures, for the purposes of carrying out our services, conducting necessary operational activities, and implementing our human resources policies. This processing is done under the legal bases stated in Articles 5 and 6 of KVKK.

3) Sharing of Personal Data
Collected data may be shared with shareholders, authorized officials, legally permitted public institutions and private individuals, for the same purposes mentioned above and under Articles 8 and 9 of KVKK.

4) Method and Legal Basis for Data Collection
Depending on your interaction with us, your personal data may be collected through verbal, written, or electronic means via our offices, website, social media platforms, mobile applications, and similar channels. It may also be collected when you visit our school, attend our events, or use our website. These data may be processed and shared within the purposes explained in articles 2 and 3 above.

5) Rights of the Data Subject

Under Article 11 of KVKK, you have the right to:

Learn whether your personal data is processed,
Request information if it has been processed,
Learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly,
Know the third parties to whom your data is transferred,
Request correction if the data is incomplete or incorrect,
Request deletion or destruction of the data if the legal reason for processing no longer exists,
Object to decisions made solely by automated systems,
Request compensation if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing.
